The Dual Sport Motorcycle
Riders Association is a National, non profit trail riding organisation
with a membership around 3000 with branches all over Australia.
The Portland branch run
trail rides in the local area once a month from April to November.
Membership is around $50
per year. DSMRA membership not compulsory for your first ride.

All rides are
non-competitive, casual trail rides through local state forest tracks.
o
Local DSMRA members
will act as lead and tail riders, and can adjust the ride
length and
terrain to suit all rider skill levels.
o
All bikes must have
full or Rec Rego and be adequately silenced
o
All riders must
have a road Motorcycle license
o
Ride Cost is
normally $10-$15 which includes a refuel if required.
o
Fuel range of
around 120km is adequate
The ride calendar is normally set in February each
year.
The ride locations and other details are finalised in
the weeks leading up to the ride.
Ride
information is forwarded to all members via email.
